We first met during a transport strike when I couldn't find a jeepney to ride at the front gate of CNU. Since we had already been chatting, he kindly offered to take me home. From that moment on, we stayed in constant communication, grew closer, and shared many memorable moments together through our frequent hangouts.

Our relationship officially began during our visit to the Carmelite Monastery. Since we had both studied Spanish, we challenged each other to confess our feelings using the language. It was also during that time that we started calling each other “Amor,” a sweet endearment that has stayed with us throughout our relationship. In that moment, we chose to place God at the center of our relationship, guiding us in every step of our journey together.

After 10 long years of waiting, filled with love, patience, respect, and countless memories, everything finally felt right—the perfect time and place. I proposed at an airport, a place filled with hellos and goodbyes, but also the perfect symbol of our shared dream—to travel the world together someday.
